Purity
& Laboratory Certification.
In institutional research, the validity of a scientific model is entirely dependent on the purity of the material used. PeptideLab adheres to strict double-blind testing protocols to ensure that every compound meets or exceeds clinical-grade purity benchmarks.
High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
HPLC is the analytical gold standard for quantifying purity. By passing the research material through a pressurized column, we can separate each individual component of the mixture. For a deeper technical dive, see our article on HPLC/MS standards.

Identity Verification via Mass Spectrometry
While HPLC confirms how much of a compound is present, Mass Spectrometry (MS) confirms exactly what that compound is. By measuring the mass-to-charge ratio of the molecule, MS allows us to verify the theoretical molecular weight against the actual sample. This prevents the risk of mislabeling or structural analogues entering the laboratory supply chain.

Contaminant & Endotoxin Screening
Purity is not just about the target molecule; it is about the absence of everything else. Our certification process includes comprehensive screening for heavy metals (Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Arsenic), residual solvents from the synthesis phase, and bacterial endotoxins. This level of rigor is what separates laboratory-grade supplies from standard commercial alternatives.
